Welcome to Arms Wide Open Church, a Pentecostal, Southern Gospel Church, located in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Arms Wide Open is a loving family church for all ages with a God-given vision to extend God’s family through love and through faith in His Word! This exciting new ministry, started on September 21 (9/21), 2014, is built upon the solid foundation of God’s Holy Word. We are fully committed to faith in the whole Bible, from beginning to end, and to the Gospel message of God’s eternal love! Jesus Christ is our living example and the Holy Spirit is our guide for relating to all those in our congregation, our community, and our nation. From the moment you enter Arms Wide Open, you will feel at home. 1 Corinthians 16:23 (MSG) ‘Our Master Jesus has his arms wide open for you’. We welcome all who come with our arms wide open. We believe you come as you are, but also in hopes you won’t leave as you came! Instead you will leave knowing and having felt the love of Jesus Christ! We believe at Arms Wide Open, you may come the first time as a guest, but you will leave as part of our family! But don't take our word for it. Experience it for yourself. From the traditional live southern gospel worship, to our contemporary worship, to the uniquely presented, relevant message given by Pastor Tommy Shifflett, you will feel the freedom to worship and experience the awesome presence of God. The Arms Wide Open family firmly believes in making faith an active part of our lives, not passive, applying God's Word in all aspects of life. We are a body of believers that believes God is still God and He is still in the miracle working business! We believe through the power of prayer in Jesus Christ, and faith in God’s Word, All Things Are Possible!
